Rungword
Rungword is a word-ladder puzzle game for iOS and Android. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and who it's shared with.
Information we collect
Rungword itself does not require an account and does not collect or store any personal information such as your name, email address, or location. Your puzzle progress (best streak) is stored only on your own device.
Advertising
Rungword shows ads through Google AdMob to keep the game free. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process:
- Device identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID)
- Approximate location (derived from your IP address)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
On iOS, Rungword asks for App Tracking Transparency permission before any tracking-based ads are shown. You can allow or decline this at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and their Ad Partner policy.
Children's privacy
Rungword is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us using the details below and we will remove it.
Data sharing
We do not sell your information. The only third party Rungword shares data with is Google, solely for the advertising purposes described above.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new effective date above.
